The Pub serves delicious home cooked food daily and also plays host to a general knowledge quiz every Wednesday.
The Pub was built around 1816 as a Coaching Inn. Local
legend is that the figurines above the main door often dissapeared into the woods for a rendezvous and were once caught
out and hastily returned, which is why they now stand above the doors as the Shepherdess and Shepherd!
